After noticing some limitations to their existing SquareSpace website, the partners at the online professional development start-up, WorkPlaceU, asked me to help them develop a WordPress-based website.
The site’s main use was to drive users to the online application, so I devised a single-page marketing website by condensing/editing the information from their former multi-page website.
I utilized a clean/minimal design to allow the information to stand out, stock photography with diverse models and optimized the site for use on mobile devices. I re-wrote the existing copy for maximum effectiveness on the new site, included SEO and Analytics features and launched within two months of accepting the project.
“When it was time to update our website, I had an idea what I was looking for but was having a hard time being specific. John did an outstanding job listening to us and when he showed us his initial work, I was amazed to see that it was exactly what I wanted. The site that John built looked great, was simple and elegant to update, and was nicely tuned for SEO. I couldn’t be happier.”
